I have been concentrating on the problems of 700R4 & 4L60E, for several years now, and have come up with some "solid" solutions. The following products, (depending on the application of the transmission) have proven themselves highly successful:
- A Modified version of Trans-Go's Performance Shift kit, for HD, Street/Strip, & Road Race conditions, offers smooth part throttle & firm WOT shifts
- A more highly Modified version of Trans-Go's Performance Shift kit (Pro Street Elite) offers even smoother part throttle shifts, and firmer WOT shifts, with superior accumulation
 Trans-Go's steel front pump rings & matching priming spring for engines going to 5,500rpm & for those going up to 7,800rpm - Trans-Go's high rate forward & 3-4 clutch return springs that prevent centrifugal clutch apply that burns 3-4 clutches, and cleaner 3-2 downshifts
- 9 Borg Warner Hi-Energy 3-4 clutch pack (good for over 800FWHP)
- 10 Borg Warner Hi-Energy 3-4 clutch pack (good for over 850FWHP)
- Borg Warner Hi-Energy 2-4 band (good to 800FWHP)
- Alto Carbon lined extra wide 2-4 band (use when over 800FWHP)
- GM's heat treated or Beast sunshell
- HD Steel sleeve for reinforcing the input drum (Off Road & Drag Racing)
- Corvette servo (good to 750FWHP)
- Sonnax 2nd gear apply servo (use when over 750FWHP)
- Trans-Go's vacuum modulator (4L60E) (most applications)
- Vigilante 9.5" lockup torque converter
- Sonnax pinless accumulator for 2nd & 4th with matching spring
- Sonnax pinless forward accumulator for the 4L60E
 Paying very close attention to details & clearances, I am able to get many vehicles in the 11's, quite a few in the 10's, a few in the 9's, and the quickest & fastest of these is a 3,560 lbs w/driver street driven 1995 Firebird with a 2000 LS1 motor & trans, he built the transmission himself using the Pro Street Performance Upgrade, and has run a best of a 5.78ET @121mph in the 1/8 mile, & a 9.36ET @144.6mph in the 1/4 mile. He has now over 300 passes with this transmission.
