This is a one piece case/bell housing assembly. If you have the bolt-on bell housing, please specify.
Starting at the "Front Pump", new (late design) seal, Teflon bushing, 10-vane rotor/slide assembly on 1993-1996 transmissions, and 13-vane rotor/slide assembly on 1997 and up transmissions. Trans-Go steel rings & priming spring, Trans-Go HD pressure regulator spring and bumper spring, Trans-Go .532/.500 boost valve, both halves of pump machined flat with rotor and slide to pump clearance set at .002"- .003". A new stator support is installed. This pump now will keep the pressure & volume up to 5,500 rpm. If you shift at a higher rpm (over 5,500rpm), please specify.
Reverse Input Drum: A new oem reverse/input drum, along with the Turbulator low-drag steels, and Borg Warner clutches. The Belville spring is replaced with a waved spring, this eliminates the Belville spring from eating the reverse/input drum.
Input Drum: The latest design 29 element input sprag, Borg Warner clutches for the overrun and late design Borg Warner forward clutch assemblies, 8 Borg Warner Hi-Energy clutches used in the 3-4 clutch pack, Trans-Go (Hi-Rev) heavy duty springs replace the OEM 3-4 and forward springs and 3-4 helper springs (the Trans-Go springs prevent the 3-4 clutches from getting into trouble, due to centrifugal clutch apply. Good for up to 7,800 rpm, stock setup starts getting into trouble at around 5,000 rpm). The HD help make a cleaner & quicker 3-2 downshift. Clearance for the 3-4 clutch pack is set at .020" -.035". New 3-4 molded piston installed, along with a Heavy Duty steel sleeve and modified overrun piston, and a machined steel forward piston added for strength and to prevent the input drum from splitting open. A must on 4WD applications. Turbulator low-drag overrun steels are added for a slight gain in gas mileage. A "dual feed" input shaft capsule is installed for a better torque converter clutch lockup on 1993 and 1994 transmissions.
Rear Drive Section: Hand picked input sun gear, forward planet with batwing thrust washers, input internal gear, reaction carrier shaft, a new GM heat treated sun shell, the latest design Borg Warner low/reverse roller assembly. Turbulator low-drag steels, Borg Warner clutches, hand picked rear planet, hand picked reaction sun gear, internal reaction gear, internal reaction gear support, a bronze rear case bushing, Teflon extension housing bushing, and a Vamac rear seal on 2WD applications
2-4 Band & 2-4 Servo: Borg Warner Hi-Energy 2-4 band, new Corvette 2nd gear apply servo used in conjunction with the latest design Viton seals.
Valve Body: A new modified separator plate is used along with the Trans-Go Shift kit (modified) in conjunction with the large .500" boost valve, Corvette servo, and the 8 clutch 3-4 pack. (This setup has proven to be the most reliable for this application). Torlon checkballs are used to replace the steel checkballs that ruin the separator plate. Pinless forward accumulator, pinless 4th accumulator and a modified 2nd accumulator piston with a longer pin bore matched to a RC52 hardened pin along with a 937 2nd accumulator housing is added for smooth 1-2 part throttle shift along with quick WOT shifts. A Sealed Power (zero-leak) filter is used on all applications.
