Probuilt Home Page • Register • Search • FAQ • Memberlist • Usergroups • Log in 4l60e to th350 swap      700r4l60e.com Forum Index » TH350 View previous topic View next topic 4l60e to th350 swap Author Message troylj Joined: 21 Jul 2009 Posts: 3 4l60e to th350 swap i have a 1995 chevy 2500 cheyenne. my 4l60e transmission went out so i decided to go with a th350 transmission out of a 87 pickup. i got the trans in and rigged up a healthy vaccum line and everything that needed to be done to get it to move done i thought but when i got done i only had park and drive1 gear. the trans is used but the guy swore it worked. any ideas on what i could have done wrong to make this happen? all other gears are nuetral. but when i put the truck on stands reverse worked vut not enough to pull the truck when it was on the ground. the drive shaft was very tight to get in... any help is appreciated also how compatible are these two transmissions?
